Client Setup

Follow these steps to get connected:

  1. Create a Login Account — Register at eqemulator.org (separate from forum accounts).
  2. Get RoF2 Client — You need Rain of Fear 2 (May 10 2013 build). See the full setup guide for details.
  3. Configure eqhost.txt — In your RoF2 directory, set: 
    [LoginServer]
Host=login.eqemulator.net:5999
  4. Launch with patchme — Create a shortcut to eqgame.exe and add patchme to the target.
  5. Select Server — Log in with your credentials and choose Celestial Disciples.
